In announcing run for Baldwin County DA, retired Judge Robert Wilters calls incumbent Hallie Dixon’s leadership ‘total disarray’ | AL.com

Retired Judge Robert Wilters announced his candidacy for the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office Tuesday, and criticized the incumbent officeholder for what he says has been a lack of leadership in overseeing an office that “just appears to be in total disarray.”

Wilters, 60, will make a three-stop tour of Baldwin County on June 16 to publicly announce his candidacy during the March 1, 2016, Republican Party primary. The stops include a 6:30-8:30 a.m. breakfast at Street’s in Bay Minette, an 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. stop at Wolf Bay Lodge in Foley and a 5-7 p.m. visit to The Venue in Fairhope.
