A  local investor paid $805,000 for more than 2 acres with 300 front feet on Gulf Shores Parkway near Waterville USA in Gulf Shores and will seek city approval to develop a ship-themed restaurant there, according to Realtors. Ken Crabtree and Bob Shallow of REMAX Paradise represented the buyer and sellers.

A local investor paid $235,000 for 1.760-square-foot building at 19130 Scenic 98 in Fairhope, and plans to open a retail business, according to Spence Monroe of Ashurst & Niemeyer.

Lotus Spa & Nails has leased 1,400 square feet in Magnolia Place/Publix Center on U.S. 98 in Daphne, according to Sharon Wright and Michael Wilson of White-Spunner Realty.
