Mr. Jubilee: how men dress up like women to help teachers and children | AL.com

Fairhope Brewing Company was packed full of beautiful women on Friday night, and yet the belles of the ball had three-day old beard growth and serious problems keeping their dresses in the right place above their hairy legs.So it is with the Mr. Jubilee pageant, which serves as the primary fundraiser for the Junior Auxiliary of the Eastern Shore.

It went like this: prominent, or at least self-effacing, men dressed in drag, having created characters with expansive biographies which were read by emcee, and radio host, Sean Sullivan during the pageant.

Bruce Jenner was not a contestant.
