If Eastern Shore MPO doesn’t move forward with a project, one official says ‘shut it down’

Concerns about the lack of a major transportation project underway has several members of the Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization wondering if it’s time to shut the group down.

“If the MPO is not able to spend this money on projects and in some way increase capacity of the existing transportation network on the Eastern Shore, then this is a waste of time,” Baldwin County Commissioner Tucker Dorsey said. “I just as soon we shut it down.”

So, Tuck thinks government organizations that don’t do their job should be shut down. ¬†Glass houses…?
