Two men on an ultralight aircraft crash landed at Jack Edwards National Airport in Gulf Shores Thursday afternoon.
Blake Phelps with the City of Gulf Shores said the crash took place around noon on Thursday, when the men were attempting to land. The aircraft’s left wing was “substantially” damaged in the crash.
One of the men was Life Flighted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola and the other was transported to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. Neither crash victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
