Authorities asked to investigate possible pot brownies given to Baldwin County DA’s office

At least two employees with the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office suffered from illness after eating brownies Tuesday that might have been laced with marijuana.

Tammy Toler, spokeswoman with District Attorney Hallie Dixon’s office, said Thursday that the State Bureau of Investigation has been asked to expedite an investigation into the situation that occurred at the Baldwin County Courthouse.

Toler said there was no physical evidence “at this time” linking marijuana to the baked goods.
