Loxley Council rejects bid in hopes of negotiating paving contract

The Loxley Town Council voted to reject a bid for road improvements at its meeting Monday, April 13 in hopes of being able to negotiate a lower price, officials said.

The proposal called for the laying down of a one lane, 12-foot wide surface of reclaimed asphalt milling along dirt areas of Old Brady Road off of County Road 68, Truck Route 17, west of Brady Road to North River Road and Flying K Road  from the end of the asphalt approximately 3,500 feet west.
