Tea Party representative: ‘No blank checks’ for renewal of Baldwin County School System’s loss revenue

A representative of a local tea party organization said Monday that there are “no blank checks” when it comes to renewing potential loss revenue for the Baldwin County School System.

The Common Sense Campaign of Baldwin County, during last month’s campaign, publicly stated they supported the renewal of the school district’s existing mills. But the group has since been criticized for leading a “No” campaign against new taxes that ultimately led to a disastrous night for the school system in which four of five ballot questions were shot down.
