Officials from Orange Beach Fire and Rescue said a boat ran ashore on Canal Road about 7:20 p.m. on April 11 and sent three people to area hospitals. One of the injured was on the bank and the other two were in the boat.
One of the injured was transported by LifeFlight helicopter to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. Two more were sent via ground transport, one to Pensacola and one to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, according to Orange Beach Fire and Rescue Acting Battalion Chief Capt. Dray Resmondo.
Two males on the boat were injured and the injured person on the bank was a female.
