Baldwin County Drug Task Force receives $222,674 grant

ADECA on Monday announced the $3.05 million grant to help the 17 agencies combat illegal drugs and drug-related violent crime in Alabama. The grant is through the U.S. Department of Justice.

The grants will provide funding for the task forces to conduct undercover operations, to arrest and prosecute drug offenders, find and dismantle dangerous methamphetamine laboratories and assist with other violent crime investigations, according to the news release.
