Former Auburn cheerleader on this season’s ‘Survivor’

A 25-year-old south Alabama native and former Auburn University head cheerleader will be among the 18 contestants vying for the $1 million prize on CBS’s upcoming “Survivor: Redemption Island,” network officials announced Tuesday.

“My family are all from Fairhope, the Klumpp family and Riggs family,” Klumpp said during a phone interview Tuesday

Her father, George Klumpp, formerly ran the Fairhope Farmers Market, before he sold the land and the city’s Walmart was built there.
