Baldwin judge needs more time on motion in capital murder case

During a hearing Thursday relating to the capital murder trial of Leslie Eric Buzbee, a Baldwin County judge put off ruling on the defense’s motion to throw the case out, days before a third attempt to try the case.

Baldwin County Circuit Judge James Reid said he needed time to read briefs filed by both sides before he made a decision.

Buzbee, 25, is charged in the bludgeoning and robbery of Spanish Fort service station owner Arthur “Bobby” Wilson the morning of Aug. 11, 2007. Wilson died four months later
