Baldwin commissioners approve park ordinance

Baldwin County commissioners voted 3-1 this morning to approve an ordinance with criminal penalties governing hours and conduct at parks and other public sites.

The ordinance bans activities like overnight camping, solicitation, hunting, fishing with bloody fish parts, alcohol use and setting off fireworks. It sets schedules for using county-owned sites at one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset, but states that boat launches will be open at all hours.
