Elberta teen who loved the outdoors to have camoflauge funeral

Samantha Dyess of Elberta, who died Monday after remaining in a coma for two months following a single-car accident near her home, had been a 16-year-old girl who always got her way, family members said Wednesday.

That’s why the pallbearers at her funeral — which begins at 3 p.m. today at Orange Beach United Methodist Church — will be dressed head-to-toe in deer-hunting camouflage outfits.
