A fiber-optic link between municipal and county dispatchers should get police and firefighters on their way to emergency scenes in less time, according to city officials.
The Robertsdale City Council voted this morning to approve a joint project with the Baldwin 911 system to connect municipal and county dispatchers using fiber-optic lines.
