Out of hand spring breakers

Riding the waves and catching some rays are the usual pastimes for spring breakers. And unfortunately this is when some students decide to break the law, but not all of them.

“It’s just not worth it or worrying about ‘I need bail money’ or something like that. It’s just a time to have fun,” said Rachel Peaden.

Logan Houk chooses not to be like some of his peers. “They drink, they get high. I don’t do none of that because none of its really my thing,” said Houk. And that’s a good attitude according to Youth Court Judge Carmen Bosch.

GOD is good.
I guess “Carmen Bosch” states that this is a good thing, but what about the constant reports that I get about Carmen Bosch illegally taking people’s children away from them without any “abuse” or “neglect” issues. Shut up! Who wants to hear from a corrupt judge when righteousness is the subject. Who is Carment Bosch to give good advice or to say what is or what is not acceptable behavior when she is of a reputation of ill and criminal behavior and ruling outside of the laws of this law.

My dear Glynis - have you not read the scriptures which expose that all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God. I went back and rechecked. Your name is not in parentheses. Further the Creator says that our righteousness is as “filthy rags”.

I am perplexed that you, my dear Glynis, assume the position of adjudicator with God, through his Son, stepped from behind the Judge’s Bench and assumed the penalties of the guilty. That would be me and you. Does it not frighten you to step behind that desk into the position of judge?

In the same Book to which I refer, it also says that we are to respect authority. Yes, it doesn’t say we have to agree with authority, but it does say we should submit to authority.

My Dear Glynis, who in the world would want to be a Christian by looking at your example? Who?

The entire Bible is a love story of how the Creator offers a way for the creation (me and you) to be reconciled with a Holy God.

How can you spew venom like you do and praise God with the same mouth? How, my dear Glynis?

I cringe at the thought that I - or you - would run somebody off from receiving the love that Jesus Christ offers to each and everyone of us. It’s not a message of GOD HATES SINNERS but GOD SO LOVED.

As the Apostle Paul - who as a perfect religionist - had a Demascus Road experience and turned from persecuting to loving, seeing himself as “chief of sinners” - so to, my Dear Glynis, I pray for you to have a similar encounter to change from hate to love.

Glynis … sister, listen to me, Dr. Phil.

There is a deep rooted gap in your life. I believe what you really wanted to be was a judge or lawyer and for whatever reason, you could not excel in that direction.

Because of this failure in your life, now you have a deep rooted hate for judges and lawyers and generally, people in authority.

Glynis, listen to Dr. Phil. You’ve got to take control of your life - get a grip. Quit seeing the speck in others eyes when, Glynis, sister, you have a log in yours!
