Savannah, Ga., police arrested the former chief financial officer of a Daphne car dealership who allegedly had been on the run since late last year from charges that she sold more than a dozen cars and pocketed all the profits, Daphne investigators said.
Patricia Ann Baker, 49, former CFO of East Bay Kia in Daphne, was arrested last week and transferred this week to the Baldwin County Corrections Center, according to jail records. She faces 12 charges of first-degree theft of property. Her bail was set Wednesday at $117,500.
“Essentially, the cars were stolen,” said Daphne police spokesman Lt. Jud Beedy
