Soap an unknown substance at rest areas

State transportation officials have reopened interstate rest areas on Interstate 65 in Chilton County and they anticipate opening the Interstate 10 welcome center in Baldwin County soon.

Both locations were closed Tuesday because a suspicious substance was found in soap dispensers at the I-10 welcome center and the northbound rest area in Chilton County.
