People living in the Aaronville community woke up Monday morning to a huge mess! Homes, buildings, sidewalks and street signs were tagged with gang graffiti.
“That’s sad,” says Celastine Knight. “It’s pitiful, it doesn’t make sense. They’re trying to give these people a nice place to live and whoever’s doing this is messing it up for the good people in the neighborhood.”
The damage was widespread and included obscene threats against the police department. Just recently, Foley’s chief of police opened a new precinct in Aaronville near the location of the graffiti tagging and vandalism.
