Ask the superintendent

ASK THE SUPERINTENDENT is a new program that allows employees to send Dr. Hollinger questions and have them answered directly by him in this podcast. Of course, employee specific questions cannot be answered in this forum. Dr. Hollinger welcomes you to send questions of broad interest to: questions@bcbe.org. You will not get an e-mailed response, but the questions will be compiled and answered on future additions of the show. We will attempt to get to as many of the questions as we can on each show.

GOD is great.

I want to start a Baldwin County teacher’s union in order to help these poor teachers from the abuses of Faron Hollinger and his corrupt staff (i.e.: JaNay Dawson and Pam Henson). I don’t understand why Faron Hollinger wants to build bigger buildings, but fire teachers. Does anyone he knows have a construction company? I don’t trust this guy.

I have some information from the public records that I got from one of the school board meetings which I attended (I will be attending the February 19, 2009 meeting as the LORD wills) and I saw where Pam Henson requested multiple thousands of dollars for this so called specialist which had been approved by the board. I want to look into this further.

The teachers, who are being laid-off, need to confront Faron Hollinger at the school board meetings and DEMAND:
1). The policy needs to change which allows high school graduates to serve as substitute teachers even though the law requires that if anyone is to administer curriculum to a student, he or she has to have a degree and have to pass all of these tests. Don’t substitute teachers give curriculum to the students when the regular teachers are out? Don’t they pass our lessons and read instructions to the students? Why do teachers have to pass strigent tests to do this, but a high school graduate does not?;
2).The policy also needs to be changed so that a fired teacher, with a certification, has to be selected over a a fired teacher with just a degree (pending certification) and over any high school graduate in order to substitute teach;
3). All staff in charge of calling substitute teachers, who administer curriculum, would have to FIRST call any fired certified teachers, fired degreed teachers and then lastly high school graduates;
4). To make matters worst, the high school graduate, is paid $65.00 and a degreed teacher is paid $80.00 and a certified teacher is paid $100.00 Not only will they fire the teacher, but also will probably encourage the hiring of the high school graduates in order to save MORE money while the fired teacher, who may have worked hard in college and studied hard to past tests, is unemployed; looking for a job; have college loans to pay back, etc.
5). Another policy which needs to be changed is how substitutes get paid. Why does a substitute teache have to wait an ENTIRE month for his or her money? I substituted once and they cut me a check for $80.00 on the spot. The Bible states that a laborer is worthy of his hire. A substitute teacher who was a former certified teacher needs to leave the VERY DAY with a check for the days work. Isn’t this money aready in the bank? If the money is sitting there in the bank, why can’t it be distributed IMMEDATELY? Why? Why does a substitute have to wait for a check in the same way a contract teacher would have to wait? Give them people their money so that they may survive. They need GAS to get to the job site. They need lunch money and the list goes own.

These are just suggestions in order to help the teachers, who are being laid off, make ends meet. These are MINOR things in which Faron Hollinger can do. Hollinger is not even interested in being the Superintendant. He is looking for opportunities OUTSIDE of Baldwin County. The time that he spends job hunting is the time he needs to appreciate the job he has and to do things like what I have just suggested to make life easier for people who have given their lives and careers for the teaching profession.

One way to save money is for the Baldwin County Board of Eduation to settle with my family and I. We keep telling them that we are willing to settle, but they keep ignoring us and using intimidation tactics to plant fear into me so that I will back off. For example, they sent an old man (i.e. truancy officer) to trespass onto my property, but with no jurisdiction or lawful means. No governmental interest. I am NOT afraid of the government of Baldwin County and they are wasting their time, I have about 4 notice of claims that I recently sent and not settling this matter with us is going to cost them additionally. We will continue to stand no matter how much they attempt to attack my personal property (i.e.: children). It is sad when an attorney is so desparate to pay his (Mark Boardman) that he is not only giving the Baldwin County Board of Education members wrong counsel, but he is also stomping to great lows or the depts of hell to use a little girl (my daughter) in order to plant fear in me so that I will drop my litigation.

Why is the corrupt Attorney Mark Boardman filing frivilous lawsuits to stop me from fighting for my constitutional rights? Their communications person stated that wanted the judge to also violate my constitutional rights by telling me that I cannot access the courts like other citizens after suffering an obvious wrong. The attorney fees are the problem here. This man is attempting to use me as a guinea pig in order to extort money from the taxpayers. Why don’t that Robert W. guy, who is an attorney, defend the Baldwin County Board of Education instead of Mark Boardman? Robert W. not only sits on the board, but he is one of the conspirator who is violating my constitutional rights to “due process,” and “equal protection,” of the laws. Is there some sort of conflict of interest? In the same way that I am donating my time to fight for civil rights, maybe he should donate his time to the Baldwin County Board of Education instead of giving my tax dollars to the wicked lying bastard Mark Boardman.

Glynis if you had cut the last two paragraphs, I would have actually had to agree with some of your points.
