Former Baldwin County District Attorney David Whetstone was booked into Foley Police Departments jail Friday night.
According to Foley Police Chief David Wilson the former D.A. was arrested for driving under the influence in Summerdale.
Wilson says Whetstone is being booked in Foley on the misdemeanor charge because Summerdale Police, which doesn’t have it’s own jail, has a contract with the Foley Police Department to use theirs.
A source tells News 5 Whetstone was swerving all over the road before being pulled over and arrested around 6:30 p.m.
