Events are scheduled throughout the county in honor of Veterans Day. Veterans Day will be officially observed Tuesday.

• The Foley Veterans Day parade will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
• The city of Fairhope will honor military veterans with a Veterans Day Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday in downtown Fairhope, ending at the Civic Center
• The students, faculty and staff of Perdido Elementary/Middle School will hold a Veterans Day celebration at 8:30 a.m. Monday
• Elberta Elementary will be holding a special Veterans Day assembly for area veterans at 7:30 a.m. Monday.
• The mayor and City Council of the town of Summerdale will honor area veterans at their council meeting Monday.
• The city of Bay Minette will hold several Veterans’ Day activities, beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday with a free continental breakfast at the Bay Minette Civic Center. The parade line-up begins at 9:30 a.m. at Bay Minette Intermediate School. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. and travel downtown.
• The city of Daphne will hold a celebratory program honoring area veterans on Veterans Day at 10 a.m. at City Hall.
