Two accidents in the same area of the I-10 Bayway backed up traffic for about two hours Wednesday.

At least one of the wrecks happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday. Both wrecks occured in the eastbound lanes near Daphne. Alabama State Troopers worked to clear the scene until after 10 p.m., while traffic moved at a snail’s pace.

As of 10:30 p.m., authorities had still not released information on whether or not anyone was injured or the causes of the crashes
