“It’s been full of smoke all day.” The woods surrounding James Kings home erupted in flames Monday afternoon, threatening not only his house but four others. “I didn’t know if it was coming this way or not. I couldn’t tell but I could see the smoke,” says King.
Loxley and Rosinton firefighters made quick work of the flames. “It burned right up to some structures but we got here in time to keep it off of them,” says Lt. Gavin Fell with the Loxley Fire Department. He says an unattended trash fire apparently started the blaze.
