Baldwin County’s Phil Nix disclosure forms don’t list private income
Baldwin County Revenue Commissioner Phil Nix’s state-mandated financial disclosure forms do not make reference to payments he’s acknowledged receiving from a private property-tax technology company for helping train its clients.Nix confirmed last week that he has done contracted work for Keet Consulting Services, or KCS, for about three years. Nix has earned about $3,600 during that time, receiving $200 a day for training revenue department workers in counties around the state, said Nix and the company’s owner, Ethan Southern.
Nix stated last week and again this week in an e- mailed response that “I reported all my income on the ethics form and filled it out according to the instructions.”
