Daphne police on Thursday arrested a Fairhope man in connection with a stolen vehicle after the suspect reportedly returned to the scene of the crime.
Wilmer Coleman, 56, was charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, first-degree receiving of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and reckless endangerment, Detective Lt. Jud Beedy said.
A 4:50 a.m. alarm at Daphne Mazda prompted patrole units’ response, when police encountered a vehicle leaving the business, according to a news release that said Coleman was captured after a high-speed chase that ended on Papermill Road in Mobile.
