Daphne Council talks road paving plans

The City Council scrutinized funding sources for resurfacing Lake Forest roadways — which some residents call “Pothole City” — along with other areas during Thursday’s work session.

Councilman John Lake said the council should set aside money from the capital budget — instead of borrowing — since the city is still paying off a 1989 bond issue to pave roads.
