His name is Willie Bean Roscoe P. Coltrane. And he is campaigning for mayor of this city. His qualifications include having twice as many legs as the other candidates, a constantly wagging tail, and an American Kennel Club certification. He also will bounce his eyebrows back and forth for a cookie.
The candidate is a 7-year-old yellow Labrador retriever.

His campaign may be in trouble already. His opponents are circulating rumors that he was caught peeing on trees all across town. Coltrane denies this. He claims he loves trees as much as the other huggers in town and that he only pees on fire hydrants and Walmart shoppers.
