Seems to me that we need to start taking more of an interest in our elected offices and encourage more people to run for elected office.
True dat. When the choices are few, the chances of getting bad candidates in office seem to be greater. And once in office, they tend to stay a while.
It’s too late for this election cycle but next year we could definitely use some screen space here to nominate or recruit more candidates.
True public servants are hard to find, though. Local politics seem to be really viscious.
If you ever did anything anywhere that you wouldn’t want your mamma to hear about, don’t run for office in Baldwin County.
If you haven’t ever done something you wouldn’t want your mamma to hear about, don’t run in baldwin county.
True or False doesn’t matter, the papers will publish it anyway. Some of the good ole boys are the worst when it comes to starting rumors. Ole Tom is speaking from personal experience.
Truer words were never spoken. Just look at the bashing that goes on in the blog. At least you get to find out what people think about you all because they wish they had what you had whether it be respect from your peers or the political power.
