Credit Union in Foley robbed

Police were looking Friday for two men who held up the New Horizon Credit Union on North McKenzie Street that afternoon.

The men, one of whom was armed with a pistol, walked into the business at 2:36 p.m. and demanded money, said Lt. David White, chief investigator for the Foley Police Department. The robbers took an undetermined amount of cash and fled, stealing one of the credit union employees’ cars.
