Robertsdale police ID man struck, killed on highway

Saturday afternoon along Alabama 59 as Michael Hoffman, a 54-year-old homeless man, an investigator said.

Hoffman was pushing his bike along the highway when he was hit at about 3:20 p.m. by a 1997 Pontiac Firebird heading south near the intersection of Baldwin County 48, said Sgt. Rex Bishop, chief investigator for the Robertsdale Police Department.
