18-year-old dies in north Baldwin wreck

An 18-year-old Frisco City woman died in a single-vehicle accident in north Baldwin County this morning, an official said. Two other people who were in an Acura Legend heading north on Alabama 59 were taken to a local hospital, said Baldwin Coroner Jim Small.

Sandra Perkins died in the accident after the car swerved off the highway in or near the Tensaw community between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., Small said. Small did not have any information on the other people in the vehicle.
