A federal judge in Mobile sentenced a Foley-area man to a year and a day in prison Tuesday for a gun violation, sparking disbelief and anger from the young men he shot nearly two years ago.
Terry Vaughn Styron’s sentence is three times less than the range set by advisory federal sentencing guidelines.
“I’m kind of shocked,” said Hollynn Vanderpool as he left the courtroom.
