Friday, officials with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, working in conjunction with the US Marshal’s Service Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force, arrested Van Allen Linton, 38, currently living in Mobile. He was indicted by a grand jury on various charges, including Rape – First Degree, 3 counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree, Sex Abuse – Second Degree and 2 counts of Sodomy – First Degree.
These crimes are reported to have occurred in the Baldwin County town of Robertsdale during the last half of the 1990′s. The children are related to the accused and were under his care during that time period.
