Elberta Police arrested a convicted sex offender living near a school & daycare.
Brian Bates was convicted of second degree rape in 1995. As a convicted sex offender, Bates is required to notify police anytime he moves. This time he didn’t and now we know why.
Police say Bates was living in a home on County Road 26 near Saint Benedict’s School.
