Drug-trafficking arrest follows Fairhope wreck

What began as a response to a traffic accident Sunday night ended with the arrest of a Daphne man on drug trafficking charges, according to Fairhope police.

Joseph Corey Brown, 31, of Daphne was charged with three felonies: trafficking cocaine, first-degree marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance, said Fairhope Police Department spokesman Sgt. Craig Sawyer.
