Indonesian educators visit Summerdale School

Summerdale School recently entertained an entourage of Indonesian educators from the Indonesian Ministry of National Education as well as several major Indonesian universities.

Through collaborative grant efforts administered by Florida State University, Indonesian educators visited Summerdale with an interest in learning about American educational systems and practices, particularly teacher preparation and performance.

Electronic communication between remote Indonesian students and rural Summerdale students is a future goal of exploring the dimensions of diversity found in these two cultures, school officials said.
