Here’s another story about the horrible increases in property values. It’s interesting how run-down and worthless some people are describing their properties now that taxes are increasing.
“The house is old. It was build in 1972. Nothing’s been done to it. I have settlement. It’s got some problems. The brick work needs to be redone,”
If your property was appraised much lower than market value in the past then of course it’s going to go up. “Computer software issues, human error and the lack of real estate sales in certain neighborhoods” all contributes to the situation.
If you don’t want to pay such high property taxes, you have a way to do something about it. Vote for candidate who will lower taxes.
