Two shot in Baldwin County road dispute

Two men apparently shot each other in an altercation that began when one confronted the other about speeding, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said today.

The incident occurred on Ponderosa Farm Road just before 9 p.m. Monday, the department said in a press release today. Deputies responded to 25640 Ponderosa Farm Road where they found Eugene Platt III, 31, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Platt was flown to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola where he is listed as in stable condition.
